Seems to me that F1 has been for Help on many apps for a long time . . . but I could be wrong, because I'm always forgetting to poke it when I need help. Sigh . . .
That's why we have the forums. Let's all be honest, when was Windows help, really any help?

No worse than searching the KB# for an update and being told to try searching for I'm looking for!

I got this Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14971 for PC-mbam-.png when I first tried to install MBAM-setup, changed the name to mymbam.exe and it installed. Ran it and found some nasties. Then I decided to install CCleaner for further checking. Got the same thing again; renamed it as TC instructed but it wouldn't install. Some kind of nasty is on my system and isn't going to go quietly.

I've wasted most of today on this issue, so stick a fork in me; I'm done! Wimp or no Wimp, True Geek or no True Geek, Troubleshooting or not, I've had enough! I'm gonna do a clean install of Build 14971! I haven't a clue what to do next, and quite frankly, this isn't a production system . . .

    I'd say XP.

My friend insists that Windows 3.1 had the best help of any version of Windows (He switched to Linux in 2000).
I don't remember anything about that version.

I started out with MS DOS and graduated to Windows 3.0 and have had every edition since then.

Every edition of Windows up to and including Windows 7 had to be rebooted every so often, or things would go south. However, Windows 7 was the best until Windows 10.

Yeah, I've had my (mostly) ups and (rarely) downs with Win 10, but for the most part, it's more stable than anything I've ever run on my computer(s).

Offline, Mr. Bug? No, I had no idea it could be done. But I did run it first and it found nothing.
