My second weaker machine has been stuck on 'getting Windows ready' for about fifteen minutes now! Wonder if it's stuck
Leave it longer Scottyboy, mine did the same then suddenly continued.

Ok will do, cheers. EDIT - Although it's now been almost 40 mins now and still on this screen! And typically just as I finish typing it springs into action! That was long! I'd wager many less informed might think something was up and tried to switch off and on risking ruining the machine

These updates are either getting larger, or the servers are overstretched.

Probably getting larger dencal as they are cumulative. I would have thought that the updater would read exactly which files you need but it appears the whole package is downloaded irrespective.
Anyone noticed that if you run Disk Cleanup afterwards the bug that says you have 3.99TB of diskspace that can be freed up is still there.

Bug has been submitted to Insider Feedback Hub by several users. I attached a picture, hoping it will get noticed.

After this I checked reliability history and it listed a hardware fail event, livekernelevent code ab. Anyone know what that's about? PC seems fine though
Interesting, I see this exact same error on our other machine in reliability history after the restart. We use several user accounts per PC so it may of triggered on signing out of one user and into another.

Not really, I used a bandwidth meter to check and it downloads only, what is missing. For this one (x64), it was 185 MB.

KB3197954 downloaded in the background and just completed the upgrade to 14393.351 with little or no problems. I ran Disk Cleanup which removed 4.0 Gb including Windows Update Files.
