    Weird.

Nothing showed up on WU, so I decided to download it manually. When I tryed to install it, the message was that this update was already installed.

Edit: it seems it auto-downloaded and installed without noticing.

maybe it already auto installed, might be worth checking your update history. It was all over and done very quickly on my machine so I guess many won't even notice it

Downloaded. I'm sure glad the Microsoft Update Catalog allows the use of other browsers now.

It also just showed up in Windows update.

I hate it when MS provides a link to the explanatory KB article for an update -- like this one -- and this is what pops up in response.

Sigh. I've installed in on a test machine or two, and nothing's blown up yet, but this doesn't fill me with warm and fuzzy feelings, either.

Getting it now using Windows Update from within Settings. Also testing downloading from the Catalog, working fine with Firefox where it wouldn't before.

Well, InfoWorld obviously haven't read this forum. They say...
Any browser works, that is, except Microsoft Edge. At this point, using Microsoft Edge to access the same site returns a singularly useless warning:
You've stumbled upon some vintage web tech...
Edge work too - you just have to go to about:flags and turn off 'Use Microsoft Compatibility List'.
