So I have now upgraded two totally different operating systems without a single hitch, and explored what was new in both, in one evening, I can now die peacefully in my sleep tonight, knowing I have done my geekiest!

Funny how sometimes I wait for days for the update and this time I have it now.

For the sake of those affected, they better read this first before installation itself:

    Known issues for PC

    • If you have 3rd party antivirus products such as Bitdefender, Kaspersky Antivirus, F-Secure Antivirus and Malwarebytes installed on your PC – your PC might not be able to complete the update to this build and roll-back to the previous build.
    • Larger Windows Store games such as ReCore, Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Killer Instinct and Rise of the Tomb Raider may fail to launch.

    Just un_stalled mine.
So far down loading going well. I hope this fixed some very Insider 42 issues with one of my laptops. Thank you as always for the latest update.

Finally succeeded with help from USB3 stick and ISO opened on it. It stalled also at 12% second stage from ISO mounted on disk. It's all working now.

My friend learned the hard way - uninstalled MalwareBytes and upgrade completed successfully!

It appears that some computers with MalwareBytes are affected and others not. Such is the case with my friend who could not upgrade 14942 or 14946 without uninstalling MB. Myself on the other hand had no problems.
