I didn't try typing anything, so that might be a workaround, but still a pain in the tookus.

I'll look forward to your further investigation and report.

I don't know if it will work for you, but Simrick gave me this link to disable hibernation completely. It can't hurt, and just might keep fast boot/startup from being reactivated with each new Build.

I already have hibernation disabled, and that did not help the sleep nor the fast start issue.

I currently have my computer set to not sleep. I use a blank screensaver with a password to automatically lock the computer and have the monitors powering off after 15 minutes of inactivity.

I just sent feedback on the sleep/no wake issue and have allowed them to monitor my system.

I'm not worried about privacy, since this is a test system and I don't do anything I shouldn't anyway. :)

Wow! Mine just won't wake up!

So, there's probably something wrong in our Power settings.
I don’t think it’s the power settings and it’s not a re-boot, more like recovering from a crashed system
Because I get a message on IE and Firefox “You’re last browsing session closed unexpectedly”
And the system takes an extra long time to boot up

Had no issues in getting British English PRO and Education upgraded, no issues in upgrading Finnish and Swedish PRO, but US English PRO build 14936 is now acting strange.

I only have US English PRO Insider on one Asus laptop and on two Hyper-V virtual machines on that same laptop. All of them are now refusing to find the upgrade, all three showing this:
I'm getting the exact same error on Win10x64 US. Or, at least I was yesterday. Let you know if it changes!

EDIT: Success. Although the above error prevented me from doing an in-place flight upgrade from 14393.223, I was able to create an iso from the esd and do the in-place upgrade to 14942 from there with no problems. Succeeded on first attempt, took ~35 minutes, start to finish I am happy to report.

I'm not getting any FF crashes, or "your last browsing session closed unexpectedly".

I have an SSD drive in this dual boot system, so even without fast startup (which is totally disabled), I'm able to boot within 15 seconds or so. I was surprised.

That happens even with a reboot with FF. If you watch the task in Details tab, you'll see that it takes quite some time for FF to release memory after you close it. If you shutdown or reboot before it releases, it will give you that error.

I'm getting the same thing on restarting from hibernation. All sleep functions are disabled for me since I have to use the Microsoft Basic Display drivers (they broke the Intel drivers for older CPU's like mine). Pressing the sleep button in the last two builds sent the machine into hibernation, from which it recovered normally when the power button was pressed. This time, it cold rebooted. Something is afoot!
