I'm pretty sure they did, WinUser. IIRC, we were told early on that the Control Panel would be gone.

That said, I just right clicked on the start button, click on Search, then type control panel>Enter and it pops up.

I also right clicked on Start>Run and typed in Control Panel.

Of note is the fact that when you start typing, you have to type the whole thing out . . . just another way to get us to go in the direction MS wants us to go.

And then there is the link to the tutorial for a few more ways to get to the Control Panel.
It pops up for me just by typing the letter c.

Can't see Control panel going away soon, a lot of the settings are still opening it when you dig further.

In Settings/System/About there are 4 toggles with no description; what might they be for?

I downloaded the build last night and made an iso and just started installing a clean install this morning but it keeps getting stuck at just a moment right after the wifi and express settings window, tried this 5 times so far with and without internet connection and same thing happens, gets stuck there for more than an hour, any help?

Had no issues in getting British English PRO and Education upgraded, no issues in upgrading Finnish and Swedish PRO, but US English PRO build 14936 is now acting strange.

I only have US English PRO Insider on one Asus laptop and on two Hyper-V virtual machines on that same laptop. All of them are now refusing to find the upgrade, all three showing this:

Checking Update history shows on host (laptop) 39 instances of this same update, every time Successfully installed (two times today, 17 times on 5th when the laptop was powered on last time, 20 times on 4th:

Both Hyper-V virtual machines show the same update as reason for updates failing, other has installed it "successfully" 11 times, the other over 40 times.

Trying to hide this update (tutorial) does not even show it, yet every time I click Retry to check updates WU shows it is downloading this same update, which then again fails:

Any ideas welcome? How to proceed from here?

Upgraded this morning, smoothly installed in just under half an hour.
Sorry to see you have a problem Kari, as for offering help, your knowledge is way above my station.

Try first downloading the driver package at ASUS(don't install yet),
then nuke it on your system by uninstalling(Uninstaller: C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework\Uninstall\setup.exe -uninstall),
then if you have Ccleaner run the registry part and only select the DPTF selections,
    then delete the program/installer folder(Path: C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework\uninstall\x64\Drv64.exe ),
reboot, then install the downloaded DPTF.

    Then try Windows update again.
