Thanks BunnyJ, I have moved to previous build and set it to slow build for the time being, I will try again latter on.

My pleasure.. for now I switched over to Chrome for my primary browser and I found just the extension I want. It's a way to color the scrollbar and resize it.

I rolled back too. Malwarebytes would not work, blue screened every time i tried to load it up. Also my logitech keyboard lost all its profile settings. Quite a few other minor issues also. I'll wait for next preview build.
Defender functions fine in 14942, I thought I'd mention. I have a Logitech Internet keyboard and my settings in setpoint were maintained. No problems here so far with the build, which is a pleasant surprise....

I noticed that, Walt, but didn't say anything. :)

I can stand the heat okay, I don't need to get out of the kitchen; it just seems like MS doesn't know which ingredients to add to the pot, lately!

    Addendum re Desktop

after letting system run for a few hours, both laptop and desktop, then allowing sleep, the computers wake up and work. Maybe the build just needs some burn-in time. Seems stable, without problems with mail, IE, Edge. Also, have access to Control Panel.

Oops - the laptop wakes up and I can go to work. The desktop wakes up but will not display anything; has to be rebooted twice, just like before, to get to the menu for operating systems.

I had that problem on this build. Turns out it was MBAE. Until a fix comes along I have removed MBAM and MBAE.

I can stand heat just fine, it's the kitchen (dirty dishes) that I can't stand. As my culinary art ends with scrambled eggs I don't spend much time in there.
And you know what guys, I actually don't have any complaints or issues with this build. Only one problem though, sfc /scannow finishes but with few errors that it can't fix.
