I got it. It's based on the current version OS version you have now. For me I have both Windows 7 Pro & Ultimate, as well as Windows 8.1 so I'll be eligible for 10 Pro.
Thanks :)

Windows 8.1 gets you 10 Home, 8.1 Pro gets you 10 Pro. Windows 7 Pro $ Ultimate will get you 10 Pro though.

Yeah I got that, I meant to say I have 8.1 Pro :)

Ok, I got you now. Yeah Enterprise is excluded from the free upgrade. I'm going to give it a run on my laptop, once its up on MSDN though.

I guessing that 10240 is 90% or 95% (maybe even more) of the RTM. So Microsoft just has to send us that final 5% or 10% tweak and we have the RTM version. So as a Windows Insider I don't expect a 3gb file in the next day or so.

I dont get why there is no pre-loading of Windows 10... Do they want their servers to been DDOSed for days and leading to frustrated users? Also which time will the update go live, any news about that? EU getting it earlier?

I'm pretty sure that the DDOS issue is why they're doing a gradual rollout for 7 and 8.1 users, instead of delivering to everyone day 1.
