I've seen many articles that say if you are running SSDs you should disable the pagefile. It adds to wear and tear on the SSD.
As is usually the case, old advice that was once good is now long past its due date. Back in the XP days, yes it's true that Windows was very hard on an SSD, particularly in regards to the pagefile. This has not been true since Windows 7. Microsoft basically rewrote large parts of the Windows 7 kernel to make it SSD friendly, including optimizing pagefile access on SSD's.

I would suggest that when it comes to SSD's you get more recent advice. The technology has changed all around.

Nope.. nothing seems to fix the issue.. It must be an issue with the way Win10 handles memory management and that fix needs to be done in the code and not with a tweak. It seems it's not cleaning up some times at shutdown and that triggers the error,, just my 2c.,

I did the reg hack. I still occasionally get the error. The only difference is it flashes by fast.

I have had memory error messages too at shutdown at least three times but not recently. This problem was new with this build for me.

Looks like some might be a little older now. What can I say, I'm old anyway :)

I have that memory error every time I shut the pc down. Any fix? Or should I just wait for 10134?

I sometimes seen similar errors in Windows 8.1 when shutting down not using windows builtin shutdown button.

    more about that here

Application error in Explorer.exe when you shut down or restart Windows

    is this similar error?
