The update came through WU on 14393 okay, but on 10586 I had to install manually.

One thing I've seen different on the 2 Desktops and 4 Notebooks, now on 5th, that I've updated is the 2 Folders usually seen on the boot/C: drive [$WINDOWS.~BT and $Windows.~WS] are either not updated or don't exist. Not able to grab the install.esd file before restarting as it's not there. Wouldn't be a problem if everything goes as planned, but?

    .
Yes, especially because I looked on the previous page and found nothing related.

When can I expect Microsoft to release new official .ISO, with this patch inbuilt/included ?

A Cumulative Update doesn't create those directories and a install.esd isn't created either. They are only created when new versions of Windows are released.

Heh... That's what I get for learning how to read, eh?...! Thanks so much--off to get it and install! I have some more comments but I'll come back afterwards...

edit: Same problem as this morning...DISM still showing errors and refusing to install...so I was hoping there might be an executable in the Windows Catalogue...but it's not there now if it was...at least when I checked this morning.

Really upset about this...had my office hours set for 12 hours 8-8pm. Was working at 5 pm, windows 10x64 freezes, I had to hard reset to get out of it--and then I find what it was freezing for--the download was going on--and when I rebooted I had to go through the whole thing *again* only to get to 99% complete--and see it fail and then spend another 5-10 minutes while it does a multi-boot restore....!

Now I see it's loaded yet again...and is just waiting for 8:00 pm--or my next reboot. This is nuts...
