    For who?
For a well paid, professional "bug-hunting" team probably?
But I really doubt, that the average "update-screenshot poster" is interested in bug-hunting...
Especially, when the bugs are already well known...
I don't understand why MS releases such builds? Is it just to please the Insiders?
What is the average gripe for the non-insider.....bugs.
M$ seek the help of Insiders.....99% is hard graft trying to eliminate them.
If you expect to see new developments on every update you are going to be disappointed.
As for pleasing Insiders....well lets say we are suckers for punishment.

The fundamental problem in mine is similar to the earlier one in 1511 starting in Nov last year and lasting about 5 months.

The easiest way to test whether you have it or not is to run 'net view'. If you have the problem you will get error 1312.

Fundamentally, we are losing the ability to query the master browser. Looks like a big fail with no netbios action. If your comp is the master browser, no problem, but as soon as the MB moves to another comp, problem re-occurs.

In my setup, the MB always ends up on the WD NAS box so the problem is always apparent.

ATM, in network discovery, I can see one of two other AU comps and its shares but not my host comp. WSD is discovery method. I should be able to see my networked printer and NAS as well. The latter two are Linux based and need netbios discovery.

No problem accessing any shares by using names or drive mapping. It's just discovery/netbios that is broken.

@dencal has a good point. And @vel2000, there is a progression and side benefits to the Insider builds. No, regular users are not prone to bug-hunting, even if they knew how to. Not only does MS get the benefits of Insider testing, which eventually trickles down to the public builds, Non-insiders (at least here on TF) get to see what is being worked on and maybe fixed or a workaround - without having to be an Insider. For the most part, it is a win-win for all.
