so you had to do a clean install to get the items in the correct position? They are in the main menu - alphabetized and useless as they are with a download/install.

I am downloading an ISO I fund on one of the usual site that have them. Would have liked to do the ESD-ISO conversion, but I had another Baby Stroke on Wednesday so my head is in one place, and I am in another. So I hope John and Shawn don't get to mad at me for posting this. . .Hope this sounds clear, having some problems putting my thoughts together. . .:)

You can turn them on or off in Settings -> Personalization -> Start and click on Customize list link now. :)

Needs a reboot (or maybe just a logoff/logon wax on/wax off) for them to show up once I changed them. Thanks for the heads up!

I swear I recognize your u/n from another forum but I'm not sure where ...........

Anyways, I'm upgraded to 10130. Mine worked from a leaked build as well. I install 10125 about 2 days ago. I ran windows update manually and it took the update and installed it just fine. Took longer because of the virtual machine, about 1 1/2 hours but I'm good to go now.
Hey, welcome to Ten Forums! Do you still shop at Canada Computers?

Ahh .... well that makes sense now. Thanks for the welcome

Yes and No. Depends on the prices, if they don't want to match I go through other retailers like New Egg, NCIX, & BB. Their website is still pretty sloppy.

I just grabbed an i7-4790K from NCIX 2 weeks ago and the rest mostly from Newegg. I just finished a new build.
People here are nice. Enjoy your stay! :)

Cool thanks. I'm planning to do something over towards the end of the summer. Then I'll have a look if W10 is out by then.
    Thanks.

I had some problems with the desktop after the final reboot but another reboot fixed that.

I've noticed weird temporary glitches with every upgrade.

Rebooting, after the upgrade claims to be finished, fixes them.

I let it update so I could get the Install.ESD file. "The best software for your device is already installed." When I try to troubleshoot, I get this:

    Attachment 20206

So, it does look like I need a clean install.
I got the same problem here. Created an ISO from the ESD and will do a clean install in the morning. I also noticed that "auto hide" the taskbar is not working...even after a couple of re-boots. Will report back tomorrow.
