    Here are my problems:

    1. I had that error too when I clicked the Start button>Power>Shut down. I don't know why it is, but when I right clicked on the Start button>Shut down or sign out>Shut down, the error didn't pop up. The next time I clicked the Start button>Power>Shut down, there was no error, and hasn't been one since.

    2. I have IDT HD Audio CODEC and by changing from 24 bit to 16 bit, I now have sound. You're right . . . it's unacceptable.

    3. I have Office 365 ProPlus and don't have any problems with Windows 10 remembering that Outlook is my default email client.

    4. I don't have a recurring reminder to restart the machine after updates.
Sorry for taking so long to respond to this, but I don't have FAST START enabled anymore (LOL)

    So, #1:
I get the explorer error at every shutdown, if I left-click Start>Power>Shutdown. When I right-click Start>Shutdown or sign out, I do not get the error. HOWEVER, if I left-click Start>Power>Shutdown, I get the error again. It doesn't go away for me.

    2. I don't have this.
    3. I don't use a mail client.
    4. I don't have this recurring message problem

    and I'll add #5:
I have a setting for the Synaptics trackpad to be disabled when a mouse is plugged in. On each boot, it disables after sign-in, and gives me a sound + message that swipes in from the right. That swiping message used to be at the top of the screen, but now it appears to be at the bottom behind my taskbar and is not visible at all.

Yes, I have that too; however, when I clean installed Windows 10 (I think 10122), the Synaptics driver wasn't installed, so I couldn't tell it to disable itself if it saw a mouse. Cure for that problem was to install the driver, then tell it to shut itself off if it saw a mouse. Kinda convoluted, but it worked.

    RE: Post #387

I just noticed that this is also happening when signed in normally with an MS Account. Anyone with a spare vm willing to test this scenario and tell how it went, I have used highly customized install image and it just might be possible that it is causing this. Would be good to know if it happens on a normal install using standard install media, too:

    • Sign in with your administrative Windows 10 user account (local or MS)
    • Create an additional user account with an MS Account
    • Sign in to that new user account once, sign out again
    • Sign back in with your original MS Account
    • Remove the newly added second Windows user account

Now check the Start Menu. Has everything disappeared from it, Start Menu left panel only showing your username and Spartan icon at top and Power & All Apps links at bottom, the right pane being completely empty?

Happens to me every time. Delete / remove an MS Account user from Windows 10 Build 10130, all other users lose evertyhing from Start.

Oh, guess I will be doing that when I clean install, eh? I am about due, I think. Anyways, did your notification also drop behind the taskbar so you're not able to see it?

Windows is notorious for hiding things behind other things. Happens to me all the time. :)

If I were you, I'd wait until the next drop before doing a clean install. I think it's only days away from what I've recently read.

Any news on the new build?
My 10130 is ready to get wiped out anytime. I am just messing around with it right now trying to install any programs and see how it behaves. I hope we'll get something today.

Not that I know of, except that I read in the last day or two that the next build is only days away if it passes muster. I think it's 10146, but working from a not so great memory bank. :)

I'm not having any problems with it, Robot. Except for the fact that the memory error seems to be back.

It's working alright. But every time I shut down or reboot, it's very annoying. I am supposed to have a PC that can reboot in less than 30 sec. But all those errors are delaying everything. Especially that update that doesn't install and keeps asking to restart. And when it restarts, it goes on an endless error loop until you hit the reset button.
