As with other things, they buried it. right click desktop, personalize-screen saver settings-change power settings-change plan settings and FINALLY you have options for sleep.
Or you can click on Start>Settings>System>Power and Sleep. Follow the yellow brick road and you'll see the old familiar power settings.

Yea, I did it the old way via control panel since it pinned the CP in my start menu. I hope they don't get rid of it

And looks like shift+restart button via start menu is the only way I figured out how to get into safe mode after navigating a bunch of windows about pc repair and such.

Yeah, it is that slow! My Cable ISP had me messed up and I was getting anywhere from .89 to 1.4 Mbps, and it was painful. Once the tech came out and worked on it, I'm now getting around 14.5 Mbps, and it streaks!

He disconnected the coax cable, licked his finger and touched it to the little thin wire that sticks out. Reconnected and Voila! I had speed again! He said static electricity gets in and gums up the works. I hope he didn't do something else and wasn't pulling my leg, but he told me if it slows down again, to do that and my speed should get back up.
I sincerely hope you're joking and didn't really believe that nonsense about static electricity gumming up the works. That's 100% BS.

I have my Start Menu back! :)
It was quite simple but strange. Apparently you cannot turn these off!

@Edwin ,Every system may be different as I only had to turn on the 2nd setting from the top to get the Start Menu back. (see post #156)

Oh, I have my doubts, but whatever he did made things work. :)

Everything went ok until it said you have less than 1ghz lol. So it ask if I want to try again, something like that. It was late. Then everything kicked in.
There is some noticeable issues in this version. I don't like it. I don't like this version period. Maybe to the point of not even useing it.

There is a new item called "Network Beta" under "All Apps" but doesn't work.
I clicked on it and it said, "Coming soon."
