@simrick, I tested this - did clean install of 14926, removed all apps (including store) and did an in-place upgrade. None of the apps are reinstalled. This means repair install is no longer a simple fix for the situation where someone deletes the store.

It doesn't exactly preserve the state of your apps but at least you don't have to clean install if you delete the store
