I'm having a problem when I try do disable Windows Defender in build 10125. Even if I go to Windows defender settings and turn off real-time protection, it turns itself on again after a while.
It seems that MS is trying to force the use of WD just like they did with UAC in Windows 8.
Hmm, that's interesting. Yesterday, I just upgraded my Win 7 Pro 64 Latitude E4200 to 10125. No real problems in the move. It even transferred everything over intact, even Bitdefender Free. I might uninstall Bitdefender until the RTM comes out this July.
Biggest improvement is all the Modern apps work. In 10122, the Weather app was infamous for never fully installing. In the beginning hours after upgrading, 10 was running a little slow. A second or two lag. But now it's running faster than it did yesterday.
Why upgrade? On this system, too many things to reinstall/configure. Office 2007 Enterprise (purchased), QuickBooks Pro 2013, NAS tools, Office 365 configurations for Exchange email,... Besides, Microsoft needs upgrade telemetry data just as much as it needs clean install data. And this is a 2008 notebook. If MS wants to upgrade everyone from 7, these are the kinds of machines they are going to have to upgrade from.
