hi, this glitch is continuing to frustrate me and of course MS hasn't update office 365 since. How do you suppress the office automatic update check on your setup (or at least reduce its frequency of checking) as this is definetely the trigger for making this component run? I wonder if it's office 365 specific glitch rather than for those that run office 2016. We are seeing this on several machines, they all run office 365 rather than the standalone one time office 2016 purchase

MS have acknowledged the bug and fix is in the works. Impressed that Gabe Aul also responded to my tweet letting me know this was on the Office team's radar
