For some reason KB3176934 installed fine on one pc and a laptop. But on the other pc, it hung and would not install, so I finally restored Windows back prior to today's updates using Macrium, Has anyone else had problems getting this to install properly?
Yes, it hung for me too, on 32 and 64 bits PCs. Finally I dowloaded this KB from the Windows Update Catalog.

It wont install for me, I tried it through Windows Update and standalone msi.

Initial install goes fine, however after pressing restart it applies 30% of the update and restarts to finish updating. Then when the laptop boots the update gets to 99% and says Update Failed - Undoing Changes. I'm stuck, tried troubleshooting windows update and that didint help.

I have a password set in my Premamod bios so when laptop is turned on or rebooted I have to type password in at BIOS post before Windows starts booting. I'm sure that isnt interfering with Windows Update right?

When I woke this am, I had to login to my computer and my Internet was down. I rebooted my but it didn't fix it. Long story short, I attempted to uninstalled KB3176936, but in the process, Norton Firewall alert popped up and said no firewall. I fixed that and the Internet came back. Both new updates remain on my computer and it is running fine.
Something definitely happened during the night?

Well, hopefully there are some good fixes because yesterday I've got complete desktop freeze while doing basically nothing just browsing. Shortly after that systems crashed to the BSoD with BCCode 133 (DPC Watchdog Violation). This is my first BSoD since august 2015 on Windows 10. I didn't install or change anything major lastly, only AU update and week ago a new Geforce drivers 372.54 (possible suspect).
How long was your computer running when this happened?
Since I upgraded to 1607 on the 2nd August, My computer will crash with Bugcheck code 133 after 24 hours and 15 minutes of uptime, and reboot. The system freezes for about 20 seconds before the crash. It always crashes after 24 hours and 15 minutes uptime, I can time it to the second.

I've been running Windows 10 since it's launch in July 2015, and this is my first crash. The same machine ran Windows 8 and 8.1, and never crashed.

I have had a look on the internet, but have not found any reports of the "24 hour and 15 minute uptime" crash, so I was just wondering.

    Thanks,
    Dave.

This update broke all media playback on my Surface Book, all. YouTube would hang, Iheart radio, Movies and Tv and Groove, all played prior but none would play until I uninstalled this update.
