    It's probably a SATA Controller driver issue, I experience it all the time.

    One of the drives that keeps disappearing is an M.2 PCIe x 2 SSD.

    The SATA ones disappear as well.

    PS - I have created my own from fast ring install.esd. I wanted to know so I can tell others.
    I have 14393 sitting on a slow ring rig, waiting for me to reboot and install. Been there for 2 days now.
