    Hi,

    +2

    And it's looking good.
Those programmers are really incredible. Hopefully they hydrate themselves too after the final release.

    Cheers,

One of the fastest installs yet. I have noticed that the last 4 updates, I get an error message that happens when W10 requests a restart for the first time. I have not clicked "OK" and after about 5 seconds, the error screen goes away.

I use 2 SSD drives, one for RTM and one for Insiders. Only one is installed at one time on the same machine. This error never happens on the rtm updates we have had over the last month or so, only on the insider version.

Nothing in the error logs that I can tell that resemble this error, but location ....40? Any suggestions appreciated...

got the introductory offer to join Groove Music..
everything looks really neat - love the layout..:)

you get access to a pretty good Equalizer in the mobile version,
it's under Extras in Settings, but it's not there in the PC version..

    - the one in Windows Media Player still works fine, though..

The build number and identification as an Insider Build has been missing since at least 14388. If you run winver with the last few builds you will see there is no expiration date either.

I had similar event, at time of completion of download and as restart was beginning but it flashed on screen, then was gone, and reboot started without a flaw and installation was without incident. Maybe a bug in install routine. I reported it but did not get screen shot. This is first time I have had this happen.

And that's why I said "at least" Jeff. :) I really wouldn't be surprised if we get another one on Friday, and then one on Tuesday with a final one on Thursday. A stretch, I know, but it could happen. Microsoft be sneaky.

In other words, no one has the least idea how it's gonna shake out here in the end game. I doubt if Dona even knows yet - I take her at her word that they're gonna try builds until they get The One. I suspect they'll settle on the release candidate by the end of this week, but that's just a SWAG - we don't know what the deal is with hardware partners who may want a bit of time to prepare machines for sale on the day. We won't know until August 2 which build it actually turns out to be.
