Yeah mine reached 47% but has been stuck there for a good ten mins now. I think its KB3172985 stuck for me. Why do MS not make sure servers are upto scratch!!!

15 minutes ago I thought that my wife's computer was almost ready to reboot, but it's been stuck at 99% since then. She just had the standard 10 patches, then one additional (KB3115246) for Outlook 2010.

Update.microsoft.com - Is Microsoft Windows Update Down Right Now?

We have tried pinging Microsoft Windows Update website using our server and the website returned the above results. If update.microsoft.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress.

What's funny is that my Windows 7 laptop downloaded the July updates, installed them, was rebooted, and is now complete... less than 15 minutes. Normally the 7 patches are the ones that take a long time, but this month it was reversed.

Mine just popped upto 54% from 47 where it had stuck for about 10-15 mins. I sincerely hope MS is not going to turn this into an all night affair. I suppose this is good preview for the redstone anniversary update on 2 Aug, where their servers will be similarly ill prepared for it all

All updates are downloaded and successfully installed at the beginning like it was left to stand at 47% but I disconnect my computer from the net and clearing the contents of C: \ Windows \ SoftwareDistribution \ Download - PC is rebooted and re-joined to my wifi network - Update is quickly downloaded and during the process of updating my system there was no problem. We have a new number Build:

Trying to stick with it, still at 54%. It's the cumulative update that's holding it up, the others are downloaded waiting to install. But I'm not sure it's healthy for the computer to interrupt the update

are any of those that were stuck making any progress at all?
