Audio wasn't working after installation (Intel SST Audio). I had to delete the driver and reboot to get it working.

Hey, TC, I'm going to post my Edge errors here too, because others may also have them. Then I'm heading off to give feedback because, to my mind, this is serious.

When I first started Edge after installation, and later tried to close it, I couldn't click on the red X in the upper right corner to close it. It took several attempts to close Edge, and it absolutely failed to close when I clicked on the red X.

installed now
water mark gone
synaptic touchpad driver uninstalled so had to reinstall it
restore still switched on
not had any problems with edge so far

Ho, hum, another boring install:)

Looks really good and very encouraging for Aug 2.

No problem with Edge. Apart from the normal!!

Presume goatty2's recovery on means restore? Mine is off but maybe that is because I have an SSD? Still has 132GB free, though.

Event viewer really clean after another restart. Just the one DCOM permissions error left now as reported above.

Think MS will be quietly confidant as 2 Aug approaches.

Wowser! I just noted a great change that I thought I saw in Build 17279, but wasn't sure.

After the update to Build 14383, I noticed that several of my Quick Launch icons had been "taken out". IOW, they were no longer icons, but little sheets of paper on the QL Bar.

I haven't rebooted yet, nor have I done anything but look around. However!!! My Quick Launch icons are back to their original selves!
