I had a bit of a problem getting it to close right after installation, but once I got it to close, it seems to be working.

    We'll see.

Nope, because you're now testing the Anniversary Edition. You don't have all that stuff in the bottom right corner either. :)
Yep. But we were told there might be an expiration date of 7/15/2016 on this build.

I don't recall that, which doesn't mean a thing, Magilla. May I ask where you saw that?

I do seem to recall someone saying they had a July 15 expiry, but I believe it was for a much earlier Build.

still no additional extensions. That is the killer for me.

    • If you are seeing a notification pop-up once a day that started on 7/1 saying that your Windows evaluation copy expires on 7/15/2016, don’t worry – this is a superfluous dialog and your OS won’t expire. The dialog will also go away soon.

    Hi,

If there is an expiration date then I just can't find it anywhere.
I just ran slmgr /dlv and there's nothing there to suggest any expiration date for this build.

Let's call it the pre-anniversary build. Yay.

    Cheers,

Under first post they said there might be an expiration date in form of POPUP. I didn't see the POPUP part. It was under KNOWN ISSUES.

Is that why no watermark? Thought something broke until it was the same on my VM. No watermark! Gotta do a quick WINVER to see who's on first!

    Hi,

Impressive. Only one single DCOM error in event viewer which I fixed.
ISO created. May do a clean install one of these days.
Time to make an image of this beauty.

    Cheers,
