Actually, the laptop isn't old . . . it's just slow. I think it was manufactured in 2014, so that's not really old.
Sorry to imply that you had an old laptop. Mine is old - vista vintage HP. The drive I added is SSD but is used for the Released Version of Windows 10. My Insider Build drive is original HDD that came with machine. So that makes it slower, too. Also has only 4 Gig memory, compared to desktop's 16 Gig.

When I added an SSD drive to my old laptop (it came with Vista) that cratered, it didn't make any difference in speed at all. So I pulled it out and put the old drive in. That one landed at the local computer guy's shop as repair parts.

I have a 5000GB SSD in the desktop with 8GB RAM. Runs pretty fast, but one of these days I'll replace it with a newer model.

Lappy has a 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM.

No problem about "implying". :) Slow is just as bad as old in my opinion, so you got half of it right. The only up side is that once I get an SSD into it, it should run much faster.

No eval message on the desktop. Sweet! Must be close to the release version.

Well, after a long re-download of the whole thing, the second update process went smoothly. Seems fine - solid and smooth and snappy. But it's been fine for a couple of builds now already. Seems to me that the Anniversary Update is going to be a good one...
Glad the second install went without a hitch. I agree it is good build

Strange, I haven't had BSOD with any of the builds.

This is my first in last few months. Actually, once last build just freeze and needs restart. Maybe I need clean install after all. :)

Hardware error? Did you figure out what caused it, Magilla?

It was my screenshot! Hardware was my Radeon graphic card, but suspecting combination of sleep settings and drivers.

In translation: have no idea :).
