Have you looked to see if the install option is there without being connected to the internet. Sometimes it will try to download & install again and it causes an installation problem(happened to me a couple of times when I first installed (.1 and had the couple of hundred of updates.) just go offline, reopen windows update and look if an install button is there, it should be on the bottom right on this screen:
Attachment 18948 it should install and not try to download, because it is already downloaded.

Every few days I boot into Windows 10 TP and get the updates or just do some testing to get familiar with it. I read here we needed to get these updates so I booted in last night and only got 2 updates that started to download but only got to 43%. I waited al least 1/2 hr and finally gave up on it. First time that happened in Windows 10.
I remember in Windows 8.1 I can cancel the update and restart but it seems to be different in Windows 10. I can't cancel the update and restart. Is the option moved to another area to stop downloading update and restart?

    cheers

    Oops Sorry Mike!
I just got home from work, turned on the computer to see what's been posted and what do I see? That my post to you was from my Win8 PC. Sorry about that, I don't know if you can install an already downloaded update on Win10's "update app" if it's already been downloaded like in control panel. I would think so by clicking view update.
