    Hi,

Yes but you can only activate the version you have a license for.

    Cheers,

Am I correct in thinking that if you want an UEFI install you need to install to an unallocated partition?
Sure. But there's more to it than just that.

well Ewwww, that was an Unpleasant experience. used the Update now Tool on the windows 10 Homepage for Microsoft, and Everything BROKE. before w/ the Windows store apps not functioning they no longer left anything in Event viewer, Edge Broke, Firefox Broke, couldnt use my External Drives and Cortana kept bringing up the get started screen for her. made on another System a USB Installer drive using the MCT, and now its working.

No update offered when I got home (the computer has been off all day) except one Defender update.

Decided not to wait, so I went to the Windows 10 site and started downloading from there. I don't know if that's bringing me MCT or not, but it's moving...

Just remember for next time: Buy an external HDD, and backup your files on every HDD and do a System Restore. That way, when this happens again, you will be prepared. Always be prepared. :)

I don't know either why an update would do that.

Edit: Wait, go to File Explorer and click "This PC" and see if the stuff is still in that HDD in File Explorer.
What good would using System Restore do? Every time I have done a upgrade System Restore gets turned off.

Finally up and running with a clean install, no problems other than self inflicted ones. Setting everything up now, boy does it take time when you're old and the memory isn't so good! (mine not the PC's) note to self write everything down for next time. :)

OK, let me explain: I misread and posted wrong link.
I was just curious. I never tried either one and didn't know if they were the same or not.

Several people on reddit are reporting issues with Edge extensions. Apparently they aren't working. I haven't tried it yet because it's still in the "working on updates" stage.
extensions are working on edge here.

I'm on my RTM build and Edge with Adblock Plus and OneNote Web Clipper is working fine. FYI, Adblock Plus is turned off for this site and a couple of others that I want to help support. :)
