    Hi,

I am quite satisfied with version 1607 no more 7031 errors in Event Viewer, actually there are 0 errors and 0 warnings, however I've noticed 2 oddities:
    1. Msconfig changed from Normal startup to Selective, no big deal. (10240 build had Normal, same for version 1511).
    2. Is anyone seeing this? (see screenshot below). Updated 2 pc's via MCT and it's the same thing. In both laptops, sfc /verifyonly shows no integrity violations, as usual.

    Cheers,

I don't yet. I would be my 3rd shipped badge, original Win10(July 2015), the 1511 Win108March 2016), and then the Anniversary 10. I only have the 1st two so far.
Are you all sure you have the "New" one? Click on it to see the pop-up.

You have good questions Cliff. Checking it now I noticed my badge does not even look like the one Dona tweeted.

May I change my earlier statement? If yes, I have to say I don't have that badge :)

I thought this one is the one Dona tweeted:

Achievements are all very well but any feelings of vanity felt by myself were soon dispelled yesterday.
Could I fire up my prized MSI gaming laptop, rescue disc, Iso, playing around in the bios....nothing zilch....almost got to the point of throwing it out the window, when suddenly Windows Repair fired up, this after over an hour of trying to sort out the problem.

But what does it do? I had a good hunt around this morning. The guys on MDL think it is telemetry and spying (but they always think that if it is unclear what something does, yawn). I've also seen people claiming it is for holo lens and also for notifications.

The log is in %localappdata%\ConnectedDevicesPlatform\CDPTraces.log but it means nothing to me

I've also noticed a lot of unknown SID appear - for example if you look in %localappdata%\Packages or C:\Program Files\WindowsApps and look at the security permissions there are all sorts of Unknown User appearing (this is on a clean install) relating to Windows Apps (S-1-15 are SIDs for ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES)

    For example I have:
    Code:
    Account Unknown(S-1-15-2-2551677095-2355568638-4209445997-2436930744-3692183382-387691378-1866284433)
    Account Unknown(S-1-15-3-2551677095-2355568638-4209445997-2436930744-3692183382-387691378-1866284433)
    Account Unknown(S-1-15-3-1024-3635283841-2530182609-996808640-1887759898-3848208603-3313616867-983405619-2501854204)
These are not SIDs specific to me - they are generic.

It makes the whole release have a slightly unfinished feel I think. It makes it look messy.

Seems to work OK though which is the main thing
