All this fuss, page after page, thread after thread about something that takes 10 - 15 seconds ONCE (I repeat: ONCE!) after each build upgrade. I find it hilarious :)
Agreed. I can't comprehend the System Restore issue. We should be looking out for bugs and not making them.

The system restore issue might be a bug though? For info, those of you, "high and mighty", I've been an insider from day one. Gone through driver issues, blue screens and reinstalls. Spent hours on the first builds. Things have improved enormously in the last few months. For me this issue is interesting at the moment regardless of how easy it is to switch SR on or off.

There are many defaults that are reset during an upgrade (upgrade not update... the cumulative updates people on 1511 see are different). It may not be a "bug" and may be intentional. They may simply be setting it to off by default now.

There are lots of things I have to reset every time I install new build. For instance, every time it ignores my previous setting for warning me about the disabled firewall or smartscreen settings, and I have to once again tell it I don't care. Every so often it toggles me back to slow ring as well. It's to be expected.

Never been toggled to the slow ring. Still waiting for this AMD disaster duo core laptop to upgrade. If the bloody fan doesn't slow down I fear it will fly out the window.

I shall have to wait for my broadband to be fixed, I'm only getting 3mb at the moment with lots of dropouts.

I had a problem with Store and firewall which had to be turned off for store to download APPs. Tried getting solution from MS but nothing came out of it. I checked now and it's fixed.
My shnozola still doesn't show in log in screen but that's nobody's loss.
Some programs still won't autostart for love or money.
I don't know if it's by design but there's no delete file from Quick access in File Explorer.

Things are definitely improving...this was the first flight-upgrade through WU in several builds that installed (14372 from 14371) perfectly, the first time, and with secure-boot on in my system! Things are definitely looking up. They are getting the bugs squashed...!

+1.. For me resetting things is not a big deal and I find that having a dual boot configuration is the best way to go with 10. One is the stable build and the other is the insider. That way I don't have to reset anything or much when I get a new insider build. And this is why it's really a good reason not to use the insider program as a primary OS.. unless one is ready to do a lot of resets with each new build.
