The Windows Store team seems really busy these days updating the Store experience for Windows 10 users. The Store has already been revamped in the Insider builds and is being constantly tweaked to add new features.

We are not very sure if this feature existed but after yesterday’s Fast Ring build release, we can now see that in the listing of each app, the Store now shows list of your Xbox friends who use the app. This is a very small but nice addition to the Windows store

I think this should be optional. As far as I'm concerned it's nobodies business what apps I use.

I would agree its broadcasting what's on your computer to everyone you know (or at least everyone the computer thinks you know) over the next few years the real cost of windows 10 'Free' upgrade will become apparent.

Perhaps the real answer is to create an account with no friends, in other words an account just for the computer.

Sadly I do have to agree. IMHO MS and other companies are going to far by taking way to much of our computing privacy for their own agenda. In time we're going to need privacy laws enacted to protect our privacy when we're using our computers. I have always felt that in time we're going to find out the real reason for the Win 10 give away.

    - provided the necessary safe-guards are in place, I see no problem...

    - in fact, I reckon it's a rather neat idea..

The more I think about this the more I'm not liking it. If MS wants to use me to endorse apps I want to be compensated.

If I need advice or help I'll check online. If I want to recommend a app I'll tell my friends about it.
