I noticed this build removed Internet Explorer pinned to my taskbar, and I had to pin it back.

    This upgrade sucked!
When it came time to sign in, it wouldn't take the password, I then figured out it was wanting a US keyboard, I have a german, and there was no way to switch.
    Way to blow, it! Microsoft.
Try and get a template from the web and use the use USA layout to type yourfm password

My IE remained on the taskbar.

I believe this is the first version that existing Edge extensions re-installed automatically into the new Edge version. Nice.

I realllllly hadn't noticed it until now.
I just test the upgrade itself and if a few programs I have will be usable after, like Clover my File Explorer tabbed browsing addon.(and it has again survived). It's actually for Windows 8.1, but works well in Win10 too.

It was no real problem, just one character, but a pain to find it. This is the first time ever this has happened, since October 2014!

Anyone else seeing a policy change at the beginning of the blog post?

Combine those two highlighted sentences and you get a new policy: it's OK to replace motherboard, Windows remains activated and digital entitlement will be carried over to new hardware. Not just replace motherboard with an identical one as until now.

    Am I reading it wrong?
Let's hope you are right although I already changed 2 MBs during this time and both activated and are on the list of devices. One of them is not in use though.
