Microsoft has decided to remove the Kids Corner app from Windows 10 in the upcoming Anniversary Update as it discovered that only a few people were using it on their phones and PCs.

The company has made the announcement today, when introducing the new Windows 10 build 14367, adding that users can turn to the Apps Corner because some functionality is already available there.

“After taking a look at the overall usage of the Kids Corner feature in Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Phone 8.1, we have decided to remove this feature from Windows 10 Mobile beginning with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The usage of Kids Corner was too low to justify continued development and support of the feature,” Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, has explained.
