Yes, I know, but it takes some time playing with the system to find and report bugs. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in reviewing the builds. And I think that each build gets better, at least recently!
I think that the frequency of Insider build release will accelerate between now and the official Anniversary release coming up...and as Bunny mentioned, features are being frozen and it's more like bug-fixing from now on.

I'm still having install problems, even with 14367 today...so they've got some work ahead--mind you, I specifically limit myself to upgrade installations, though. I'm giving them Feedback on the problems, of course--today for instance, the first flight-upgrade attempt failed with a lockup and a hard reset and an auto-reversion to 14366. For the second attempt, I did what I have had to do many times--disabling secure boot, as well as making sure that all previous Insider install files were cleaned from c:\ *.~BT before attempting the flight-upgrade--no dice, there, either, as the install again locked up at around ~23% complete--had to hard reset once again and auto-revert to 14366.

Third attempt, I built an ISO from the install.esd, kept secure boot off, and lo and behold I flight-upgraded upgraded to 14367 from 14366 without issue! Finally... But, hey...that's life in the beta lane, eh?

Geeks, I finished a tutorial about how to add an existing Hyper-V Windows virtual machine's virtual hard disk in host system's boot menu in about one minute and then natively boot to this VHD. The tut is here: Hyper-V - Native Boot VHD - Windows 10 Forums
Very nicely done, Kari...! It's the kind of thing that makes this site an invaluable resource.

That is too bad but as you said 'life in the beta lane' isn't pleasant and installs such as this needs reporting. That's our purpose and that's why I say we need a little more usage time to ferret out the bugs so at release time we can all reap the benefits of a near-bug-free product.

Noticed accidentally that Edge now opens on the display it was last time closed. Until now it has only been capable to open on display 1. Very nice, it was quite annoying always open Edge then immediately move it to secondary display where I want it.

@waltc. Something is really screwed up with your system as what you are experiencing certainly isn't normal, beta or no beta.

Good luck with finding the real problem!

..logged in using the 950XL with continuum - via the Dock (HTML/DVI adapter) - ACER monitor..
    - the Microsoft "UniversalFoldableKb" runs fine via Bluetooth - very responsive..
    - also using a Microsoft Arc Touch BT Mouse - everything's functioning perfectly
    - have connected the phone to a remote Polaroid speaker using audio jack
    - getting some beautiful bass response, via the Equaliser settings
    - also tested with Sennheiser folding headphones earlier - lovely sound..!!

    - sheesh, the 950XL is just so goddam pretty
    - I'm loving the Groove app - it really flies along
    - I'm well pleased with this build..

Ugh, having the exact same hang-at-22% issue as you. Fun.

My first preview build, mostly because I want to use the Ubuntu shell to help with projects rather than work on my ancient backup Mac for some Ruby stuff ...

Just a moderately vanilla Surface Pro 3, too.

I had the same on two machines, at 22%. Restart and second try fixed that.

Now, if we knew what it was doing at 22%..................................

Easy to see when the video driver was dealt to as the screen blinks!

I have to apologize, I may have misunderstood and commented "wrong" freeze: My 22% freeze on two machines was already when Windows Update was downloading the build upgrade, not when it started to install it.

In these two machines the download indicator in Settings stopped at 22% and on both cases I decided to restart the machines (one physical, one virtual) after the indicator had not moved in half an hour. After the restart WU had no more issues in downloading the upgrade.

I had no issues in upgrade itself.
