was watching agents of shield on netflix. certain higher pitched sounds had something like background noise. rebooted and went into 10586 build and played same episode and the noise wasnt there.
You will likely need to reinstall the sound drivers/app once you arrive in a newer build. For a separate expansion card here the upgrade by update will find the drivers easy enough but knock out the mixer, speaker settings, equalizer, volume console in general portion of the software as far as the Creative Entertainment console goes while a second basic volume/speaker settings panel you bring up from a right click on systray icon remains. Plus things like Flash might have to redone as well.

Cortana is the front-end - the telemetry is the sophisticated part...it's an extension of IE in previous versions of Windows, which, as you say, is embedded.
Embedded in the sense that Cortana comes included with 10 and not simply an addon you have to download separately. Didn't care for it from the start anyways and have been sticking with Bing now for the last 6yrs. without issues! Have it as the first bookmark if not home page depending on main build, remote desktop, VM, or even two laptops one upgraded from 7 the other seeing 10 new.

    Downloading now on both machines!
This went on the second desktop as far as how fast it downloaded and prepped the restart in comparison to the last two. But I think the main will now be headed for the Slow ring rather swapping a new build every other week until the anniversary update is out.

Still no sign of 14367 for me. :-( Twice I have been asked fix an update problem and when I click on the FIXME button, all that happens is I get a request to enter my Microsoft account password. That doesn't seem t fix anything.
I seen this on Microsoft Community site - i was having the same problem & worked for me -

while going through Windows Update, clicked on advanced options, clicked through the "Your security settings need attention" fix, confirmed a system restart and STILL have the same "Your security settings need attention to get Insider Preview Builds" message? Here is the fix you've been looking for:
    1. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options
    2. Select "Stop Insider Preview Builds"
    3. Reboot the PC
    4. Sign into Windows
    5. Sign in, let Windows completely load to the desktop, press Windows Key + R on the keyboard and type "regedit" and click "ok" to open the Registry Editor
    6. User Account Control may ask "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC?", click "Yes"
    7. Navigate to: HKEY_Current_User > Software > Microsoft > WindowsSelfHost > Applicability
    8. DELETE the following registry entries: "Error State", "PilotInfoRing", and "LastHR"
    9. Exit the Registry Editor
    10. Reboot the PC
    11. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options
    12. Choose "Enable Insider Builds"
    13. Re-enter your Microsoft Account information that is registered with the Windows Insider Program
    14. Follow on-screen directions, reboot if needed

It may take up to 24 hours for you to see the new build become available. This is due to your PC being re-targeted for this flight due to the settings changes. However, you may now choose your Insider Level by opting in the Slow or Fast ring by opening Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options, move the slider to the right for Fast ring, or keep it to the left for Slow ring.Again, it may or may not take up to 24 hours for a new Insider Build to be available depending on the current build the PC is running. I hope this helps everyone as it has helped me after weeks of frustrating research with no resolve. Thanks

Here it has been much easier to switch from Fast to Stop restart re-enable, back to Fast ring again. When dropping from the Fast to Slow and then back to the Fast ring at a later time that first build will take a good part of the day for the first build from there on.

I found that out when stopping the builds completely after the Threshold 2 was first to go onto the two desktops. One had been shut down for about two months. The main was suddenly running into something unsolvable as far as no longer able to name new files, folders as well as rename existing files and folders unless being a download where you could opt for the save as option.

The first couple of builds for each system seemed to take forever namely between two builds back in February and since only time saw the move to the Slow ring lately and back for the fast switch between these latest 366 and 367 builds where it took an extrra 5-6hrs. when first moving to slow to hold off and then back to the 367. Now the main is back at Slow again while the testing system has this new build on. That initial refresh from either stopped or turned to Slow never required any registry edit.

I downloaded an older ISO 14352 preview from Microsoft and I did a clean install. Even that clean install did not seem to start the upgrade ball rolling again. What seems to have worked for me is I stopped the preview builds, rebooted, started the preview builds again, selected FAST, rebooted again and then left the machine on over night. This morning 14372 was ready to install. :)

Much happier now with only Office 2016 left to re-install and the need to search for a touchpad driver.

That's good! I stopped by moving to the Slow ring on the main and still haven't rebooted now for a week since that runs 24/7 while waiting for the last build right before the Redstone 1 is out while the second test pc kept rolling through three newer builds in the last week! The main is at 367 while the remote pc is now seeing the 14376 running there. I skipped a few builds so I wouldn't have to keep reinstalling sound and a couple of other things almost daily!

OOPS! Correction on that last part as the 14379 is now going onto the second and may as well see it slapped on the main now as well as it just came out!
