Windows 10 build 10056 has leaked

Nope.. only used the leaked ISO's... still trying to find out why Wzor releases recovery images...very unusual.
Hmmm..., I've never had that. I've had Windows create a Recovery with an in place upgrade, but I've not seen them in the boot files.

I think I'm not reading quite right here; are you saying XAML was developed for touch or Windows 10 was developed for touch?
I'll hold off saying anything else for now. :)
Well, I think we have discussed that all along. If you want one single OS for phones, tablets and desktops plus touch and mouse, you will end up with compromises. As we say in my language, you get a wool-milk-butter-pig. Now try to clone that.

I'm assuming he's copying the OEM recovery partition files rather than editing an iso...

But that's all the stuff I like... mutton-cream-pudding-ribs...

[QUOTE=Superfly;223200]XAML (based Universal apps) were designed for touch... Windows 10 developed for desktop - thus combining them causes a clash...
OK, thanks. Since I don't care all that much for touch . . . I'm looking at the (turned off) screen of a tablet that is so smeared that I wonder how anyone could see anything on it (I messed up the charger and it just got back from the repair shop).
Anyway, I hate, hate, hate fingerprints on my screen, so I use a physical keyboard and mouse with it.
I really don't like much of anything that comes from the "Store" either, so I do my best to use stuff that's not tied tightly to touch.

Well, I'd like to have one of those! I could probably make a few bucks showing it around at the various fairs and festivals. :)
Yeah, I'm in agreement that one size fits all isn't all that great when it comes to operating systems.

AFAIK, AIO OS is just MS's idea. I dont think everyone agrees with it in the first place.

But they call the shots. So we might as well get used to it.

That is true but those shots can ricochet. It happened in the past. Big flops.

As long as AIO windows means that it doesn't lower standards for full blown, desktop PC, and adjusts other, lesser devices to use same OS and programs (even if that means lower performance on portables). than I'm all for it. Can't see why would that be bad if possible. On the other hand, if AIO means lower performance and possibilities for top and PCs, that would be very BAD for all.
Now on to install 10056, downloaded ISO last night.
