On a side note my Windows 7 laptop is still checking for updates (2 hours)... seems like it gets worse every month

No issues with all 3 Windows 10 machines, nor my Windows 8.1 computer, however. All updated in a timely manner, and from what I've seen everything is working as it should be on all.

Installing on 3 laptops, but seems like it's taking forever to download.

From start of download to reboot was around 15 minutes on my PC.

However on my mobile the same process took around 55 minutes.

Have done 2 Desktops and 1 Notebook, 2nd Notebook just about to finish. The Notebooks do take longer with Wi-Fi connections.

My bad, I had clicked the "Details" link on each and left it on that panel view. So it looked like everything downloading and installing had frozen up. Apparently that details page doesn't refresh itself, so everything had already actually downloaded and installed and was ready to restart.

All went well after the restart. Really loving Win 10's reliability and improved performance over 8 / 7, especially now that 99% of the initial upgrade bugs are all fixed.

After this update there are 2 Event Viewer errors each time I press the Windows key to bring up the start menu --> Power --> Restart:
Event ID 908: svchost (1512) Terminating process due to non-recoverable failure: PV: 10.0.10586.0 SV: 10.0.10586.0 GLE: 0 ERR: -1603(fucb.cxx:359): dllentry.cxx(103) (ESENT[10.0.10586.0] RETAIL RTM MBCS)
Event ID 7031: The State Repository Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 120000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

No errors detected after running sfc / scannow. If restarting using the command "shutdown /r /t 0" there are no errors. State Repository has something to do with the start menu (already disabled all live tiles so that's not the problem either).
I'm surprised and happy that this latest update has fixed my event log errors caused by the previous KB3147458 update. Unsure if placebo, but my reboot time seems even faster now.
