And that's an individual choice we make. The math works for me, since I have four computers and am looking to add (maybe) a 12" tablet or laptop. Also, Office is perpetually upgraded, which is a plus.

BTW, I'm hearing through the grapevine that Outlook may be added to Windows 10. We'll see. At least, there's always Outlook.com, which is free.
And guess who just bought a new 11.6" 'droid tablet! My HP Slate crapped out (something went wrong with the USB connection). Sheesh, I must be hard on my hardware!

Yesterday, our weekly "Penny Saver" paper showed up in the mailbox, and of course, we have to fill in a few things that we didn't get at our "monthly" shopping spree. So, I look at the Walmart ad and there is an RCA 11.6" tablet with keyboard for $169.00. Since we were already on our way to Walmart, I decided to pick one up. Had to hunt up a Walmart that had one in stock, but finally found one, went to get it and it's charging as I type. Since I already had a 10" RCA, there was no worry about getting this one.

So, another copy of Office for Android going on tonight. :)

Because I bought a Volume License Office 2010 Pro for £30 and two copies of Office 2013 Pro for £9 each.

That is a great price. I scored Office 2010 Professional Plus for $9.67 that is good for two computers. I have no desire to upgrade it.

The 2010 came from Software4Students (although their offers have long since declined) and I bought the two 2013 licenses through the MS HUP. Couldn't turn them down at that price, I'd rather be future proofed at a great price.

Where did you get that. I need a couple more keys. I am using all my 6 keys now.

I have used Libre Office on my Linux systems. For basic things it's more or less the same as Office. But for e.g. complicating PowerPoint presentations I prefer Office 2007 or 2010. Try this in Impress:

Right. The Libre Office reminds me a bit of Office 2003.
