Nobody here denies this! I had similar statement in my sig for a while.

We only have small debate about having Insider (fast) preview for main computer - and when. :)

Everyone has a different threshold for what constitutes "stable enough" for their daily driver. I don't worry about it too much, because I typically triple boot Win7, Win10, and Linux, with my data on the nice safe Win7 partition. And I'm backed up regularly. So if I need to get something done, and, say, Win10 starts acting up, I just go to Win7 - same data. I even use the same data from Linux, as I use a lot of the same software.

But if all I had was one installation of Windows, it wouldn't be an Insider Preview...

The main difference between the Fast and Slow rings is how soon you want the next Insider build to arrive. With the Fast ring you can see the next arrive in three to five weeks on average while that will vary at times between builds. On the Slow ring you may wait a full two months inbetween builds and may end up missing a build every so often.

As for the main OS one the Threshold 2 update went bonkers here I simply replaced it with the first Insider build I could and have simply each newer build to go on for the time being. I suspect the next build to be seen now will be the preview of the anniversary build a few weeks ahead of the general release version such as was seen previously with the Insider 10586 a couple weeks ahead of the TH2 update. That might even be the 371 or 375 if MS doesn't decide to leap from 14xxx to 15xxx in the numbering for the Redstone 1?

I bought an OEM for System Builders 10 dvd back in November but if going to see a clean install now would be with the last available ISO download(14352 if available or 342 which is) and then update immediately afterwards to the latest(14361) and call it a day.

With the Redstone 1 however I plan to keep that going on the main while the second build used for testing will continue to see the subsequent Insider builds for the time being until the Redstone 1 has has a few months of time. Since the TH2 flopped and needing replacement I will push the new update as well to see how stable and bug free that one will be before committing both machines to a problem child type build. I suspect that will be a much better turnout however at this point! :)

All my heavy duty computers are running Insider Build 14361 without a single issue. I do no longer have a computer running anything else than latest Insider build. I have run latest Insider builds as my only OS on all my computers since December 2014, always upgrading all computers within days a new build have been released.
Ditto, but let me add the first 3 rules of successful business computing... backup, backup, backup.

    Yes.

I create regular system image backups, in addition I save all my personal files to OneDrive. If something unexpected happens my personal data is safe and Windows system restored in 20 minutes.

And..... ? You hit the button again there! Kari without a post.

Now as far as the Rule of Business backing up the backup of the backup's backup of the backup made from the backup of the backup's backup stands more to reason there.

I have to be totally honest now: I have not a faintest clue what you mean with that?

My previous post contains a tweet in which you'll find a link to a Ten Forums tutorial explaining how you can create a Hyper-V virtual machine from your physical Windows 10 installation (both BIOS / MBR and UEFI / GPT systems).

Post #165 has content. Post #166 on the other hand has ... ? "Start tweet" 742358383945240576 "end tweet"(quoting that without the [] [/] quotation brackets) seen only when quoting the post otherwise blank. No link or anything other then your sig.
