Windows 10 usage continues to rise, but users say no to Edge browser
-
No I am not
Mine works on left and used for a time work on right click as well
Just tried it now and only left click works
Think an update might have caused it not to work, as I don't very often use it like 6 months ago
It worked before the upgrade to 1511 10586
So hopefully the next upgrade will bring it back

Many of us probably disagree with your bookmark idea. I know I do. Be that as it may, you hit the nail on the head in your bullet points. The ads are awful. In fact, that is what causes a lot of the slowness. Take Chrome and don't add in ad blocker and see how it runs on something like PCMag. You can increase Edge's performance by disabling flash. Of course for some of the crappier websites that kills video. Then again, it also kills the video auto play, which I personally am happy about.
For many of us, the extensions are a deal breaker. I'm not just talking [
Removed rule 13 ] here either. With so much running on the web these days, a lot of developers have placed useful extensions into browsers, even for their desktop programs. So unfortunately for Edge, development will need to be completed and matured for the browser to catch up even to IE before it's a usable browser compared to its competitors.
Agreed 100 %.

Agree 100%. What's the hold up on extensions?
They are coming in the next major release. (July 29th Anniversary)

They've been in the insider program for a bit. The good news is that some companies are working on their betas in conjunction with the insider releases. Some of the more well known ones will be there. However, for some more specialized programs, like voice recognition, I'm guessing at least six months to a year and these companies tend to wait until the final release before they even start their design phase, unfortunately.

Well yeah users still say no to edge, honestly microsoft should have just left it out. and waited to release it when it was more completed. as of right now i think its just a basic browser. if you want basic then it for use. but until I can use extension and the option for a menu bar would be nice too. its will just sit there not needed. idk about speeds on browser really at this point they all seem the same to me speed wise. and dont give me that nonsense about edge intergrated well with cortana i have that spyware disable. actually I have turned off many things removed many basic windows 10 apps with powershell and disabled all that spyware stuff.

I agree that MS should have waited until Edge was more mature before they released it the general public. MS should of learnt a lesson by what happened when they released Windows 8 to early. As for it's speed. With all the variables that can effect the speed of a browser how can anyone prove that browser A is faster than browser B?

MS really had to release Edge with the intimal insider build so they could properly test and get feed back on the new browser. If we're honest the initial versions of the other big browsers(FF/Chrome) we're far from perfect when they first came out and now they're up to versions(47 FF/50 Chrome). Given how new Edge is I have to say that it's really not that bad and the insider version(build 14361) it works very good with the extensions.
When the anniversary update comes down I plan on using Edge a lot more.

I have used Edge from the very first day I upgraded to windows 10.
I love it but seems on next build it is going to be even better

They added a pin option to the tabs like FF/Chrome has which is really nice. Given how new it is I have to say MS is doing a nice job with Edge. I just wish they would have more updates to the general public than waiting for the major updates that will happen once a years.
