Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Update 10586.338 to Insiders
Redmond testing new cumulative update before public launch

Microsoft is expected to release a new cumulative update for Windows 10 PCs in the coming days, as the company has already started testing it with help from insiders enrolled in the Release Preview ring.

Windows 10 cumulative update 10586.336, which was released for mobile devices earlier this week, is very likely to be shipped to PCs very soon, although the company usually releases such improvements on Patch Tuesday every month.

And yet, since we’re two days away from this month’s Patch Tuesday, it doesn’t make sense for Microsoft to start testing this cumulative update so early, especially given the fact that mobile devices had already gotten it a few days ago.
