Thanks for info on how the auto update goes :)
Cant fully read the words on the last screenshot, but is that it now you have clicked Decline, or will it try the update again in a few days?

If all you saw was the first screen I posted, and immediately shut down your PC, being scared to click next. I guess those people would assume it had actually fully installed? If you actually click next though you will see that it isn't done yet. Your not past the point of no return.
It just says declining here means your saying no to the free upgrade and we'll reinstall your previous OS. And a here's what you'll miss bit. No mention of trying again. I'm going to just leave things as they are and see if it does do it again. The GWX App is still there. It shows the old screen with no decline option. Like it was when I first installed 8.1. Time will tell.
Well that didn't take long, ran Windows update and got this,
Sorry about the picture quality, camera was acting weird. Should have used the snipping tool.
Update history shows Upgrade to Windows 10 , 2 canceled entries and one failed? Not sure what is going on. I declined it again. If it's going to try and install on every run of Windows update that's just ludicrous.
Alpha, I have been enjoying your posts on this thread. Internet forums are full of complaints about being upgraded to 10 without permission.
While it is easy to revert, many users don't know that, and they might lose some files in the process.
It's started its nag screens all over again from the beginning. I rebooted and opened Windows update and got the same screen I posted here, How MSFT's tricky new Windows 10 pop-up deceives you into upgrading The last one showing "Upgrade to Windows 10" "Start installing.....". This is getting really ridicules.
