I use FB just to keep in touch with few old friends that are still left around but all over the world. Maybe 10 all told. Never on the phone though.

Known issues for Mobile
•UPDATE: After your device reboots from installing this update, if it gets stuck as the Windows logo – let it sit and be patient. It might appear frozen but its still working in the background. While you wait, it is recommended you plug your phone in and let it charge as well.

My phone is updating from .1001 to .1003. Hope this fixes my battery drain problem.

I can also report a drastic battery life change on the latest build (Lumia 640). In stand-by (mostly) mode, less than 24 hours!

EDIT: With .1003 it seems the same (-15 % in 3 hours), no change. Maybe the update was for the problems with upgrading?

The Facebook app was my main battery drain. I uninstalled the app last night. I'll see how it goes today.

I just checked and my battery is already at 75%.

Interesting. I'm showing Windows 10 Mobile OS build 10.0.14342.1003 now instead of 10.0.14342.1001.

The battery is no longer being used up fast, and back to normal.
