It appears to work exactly the same as the Media Creation Tool.
    We'll see in a bit!

@Edwin: Yes...let us know how it goes...I am very curious about this tool...Sounds like an easy way to get rid of the junk the Computer manufacturers put on and a clean installed windows 10 without having to make an iso of the media creation tool, when you buy a new computer...

Would like to know if the results are exactly the same as using a media creation tool iso...
Also, when you did it...did you need to manually remove the original windows partitions or does it take care of that automatically during the install?

Well..., it kinda seems like a cross between MCT and an upgrade!

Watch out for this though, back up your stuff cuz it don't save a thing!!! All clean!!!

I wouldn't expect it to be any different from doing a clean install with media from the MCT. As far as preinstalled apps go.

Yep, it's no different than using any other Windows 10 installation media to do a clean install with.

@dmesal There are great deals on rental cars for military during RIMPAC at the airport and it's an easy city bus ride to the airport if you don't want to take a cab. If you take the bus, just be sure to get off at the stop under the freeway before the bus turns into the airport - shorter walk to the rental car places from there. There is a ton of stuff to do on Oahu, especially with a rental car. There is a great luau at Paradise Cove. I went twice. The first was by accident, we drove up to it, asked if there was a military discount and we got free tickets due to no-shows from the aircraft carrier group. The second time I paid for it, but since I was the senior officer present, I got to hold onto the free drink tickets from the no-shows and use/hand them out. I was really popular that night!

I was a civil service (CIVMAR for MSC) during last year's RIMPAC so can concur with what NavyLCDR said above. I had friends in the military that told me about some of the sweet deals that they got in Hawaii. It's a beautiful place.

As far as the topic goes, this is an awesome thing. I'll be getting my wife a new laptop in the near future, so I might use this to wipe all the trial and stupid ware off of it.

Yeah the Rainier. I was on the Bridge, and Supply but not that one. I quit almost a year ago (after 9 years) because I got sick of the life, the way the company treats us (especially when MM&P failed to get RET's representation), and (most importantly) the time away from my wife and parents.

Absolutely, it's ridiculous the amount of garbage that comes on laptops that you buy these days. My last one I had custom built, because I'm a gamer, but my wife doesn't require the same power so I usually just get her a cheaper type from Best Buy or something.
