Ok. I have no problem forcing to connect 10049 with my NAS. But how do you get it again to show all connected devices on my home network automatically? First time I had this problem with Windows 10.

Connecting Win1oTP to Win8.1 is about the easiest connections I ever made...........
Try simple logic.
Share what............. set shares on all machines
Share with who?.... I like Everybody!
Where are shares? Load shares in all shared Network folders.
How to get them there? Put them all on the same network! I like MSHOME... easy to remember!
MSHOME as workgroup on all machines........
Punch Network folder
Punch current machine name........... Win8.1
Win8.1 lists all shared folders
Move to each machine and do the same
Voila'..............MSHOME now connected to all devices!
and, to list a new device you must Share something or it won't show up.
Thanks. I have all my machines connected even this 10049 before I did a clean install. I know the basics. Just this particular bug is bugging me. :)
I didn't have to do anything with previous builds. I normally see the devices right away. Not necessarily have access but I can see everything under network.
Here's the before:
and here's after...

Aside from Spartan behaving more like malware than a browser freezing hanging and crashing itself , or hanging the system and the universal mail app requiring a removal and re install and crashing randomly without warning when you get it working and the hdd and memory I/O performance ,file enumeration (and maybe more ) degradation from win 7, 8.1 and earlier Windows 10 TP previews ............... what else am I missing in 10049 here ?
