It might take a bit of time. You could also try restarting Explorer

I hate be a PITA on this issue but it's just so annoying that in 5 builds that can't or won't fix the issue with file explore all over the desktop when you close and reopen it. Build 9879 did not have that problem for some reason. Please somebody tell me it's fixed in 10049 so I don't have to up my dose of Prozac

spartan not working and half the menu not working so did a reboot now everything working except mail people and calender

Spartan is very new and there are known bugs in it that MS is working on. Give it time and they will be fixed.

Nope! Probably, for the most part, it has something to do with opening numerous windows so they're not on top of each other.
There may also be a bearing concerning 'virtual desktops'
(Just surrender and use full screen!)

Again the upgrade wiped out my //vmhost mapped network drive so I've restored my prior image. I'll have to go for a clean install in a new VM.
