awww yes I had ie open when I finally got it to launch, very weird, I am not exactly thrilled with it, looks like 11 with the ability to write in it, no biggy for the pc, maybe for the tablet it is.

They must use shared files or resources? Just a guess but they look to be tied together somehow? I also wasn't overly excited about Spartan. It's early yet though.

I was waiting for the iso file for this build as I read (in the first post) that it didn't work in a VM.

But now I see there isn't going to be an iso. And I've seen mentions on this thread about VMs.

So can anyone confirm that it runs okay on a VM (VMWare free)? In which case I'll stop waiting and get the iso made.

10041 is the only one I can find on the insider download page. MSDN only lists as high as 9926.

Thanks. I'm running 10041 now in a VM and that's okay. So unless anyone tells me they're running 10049 in a VM it looks like I'll just have to wait before I can have a play with Spartan.

Spartan is no reason to rush up on updates. Right now, it's nothing to be excited about. Just keep your 10041. :)

Can you copy-paste or attach anything to this forum on Spartan?

My personal gauge for determining if Spartan is a good browser is by using it on this forum. And so far, it doesn't work right for me. If it can't do that simple task flawlessly, what else can it do? :)
