Are you saying, that Microsoft has NOT released 10049 ISO for download?

That's only partially true, because the ISO of 10049, is Out There, in the wild.

I did a web search for it, found it, downloaded it and installed it on a Test PC (laptop).
It kept crashing my laptop, so I've reverted back to 10041 for now, and am eagerly waiting for the next update to appear.
    I believe that's 10051. ???

Beta testing cannot only entail installing and running the update, but finding it, in an installable version (ISO).
    That's part of the fun!
Only a Clean Install, can truly show us how an OS will work on a new PC. That's where the rubber meets the road, so to speak.

That's what I'll have to deal with, when a customer of mine calls me and tells me that they've just bought a new PC with Windows 10 on it and they want me to set it up for them.
I suspect that scenario is only a few months away.
That makes all this update and VM crap just so much BS!
I won't be seeing any of that, out there in the real world. Eh?

there is no official Microsoft build 10049 ISO's the ones out there are been made by others using the ESD file to convert to ISO after updating to build 10049

last official Microsoft ISO is build 10041

Well no ISO from MS seems like a good move for MS. Fast ring users can make ISO. That's part of the fun right! Keeps the Rabbit hole effect down for users who can't handle bugs.

Did you have IE open when you launched it? For me all I got was a blue screen with the white glob in the center. Tried it a half dozen times, same thing. The once I launched it while I had IE open and it worked. Worked fine after that when launched solo too.
