Announcing May Insider Update 17.6965 for Office Mobile for Windows devices

Hi Office Insiders!

On May 9, we released a new Insider update 17.6965 (or higher) for Office Mobile apps for Windows tablet and phone, also available to you as a part of the Windows Insider program.

As an Office Insider, you’re the first to see and use some of these features, so let us know what you think of the experience.

What’s new in 17.6965?

Here’s what to expect –

•Merge and split cells in Word Merge cells to make a heading span across columns, or split cells to show the right level of details.

•Edit with speed in Excel Use the contextual toolbar for quick access to commands when you work with shapes and graphics.

•Duplicate your worksheet in Excel Get a worksheet set up the way you like and then duplicate it, you don’t need to start from scratch.

•Audio Notes in OneNote Record quick audio reminders or sound clips and keep it in your notes for later.

How do I join the Office Insider Program?

If you have --
•a Windows 10 device
•an Office 365 subscription
•and are part of the Windows Insider Program,

you can get access to new features with the latest versions of Office Mobile apps, available for download from the Windows Store.
