Sorry Kari, I'll have to let you down on the taskbar thing. I got a new TV last week and I honestly can't figure out how to connect properly. This was my first attempt.

With the first HDMI input (normal TV sort of HDMI with sound) I could not recreate the problem - it worked fine for me. Using the second HDMI which is supposed to act like a proper monitor (that is the PC detects it as a monitor and PC sends the correct screen resolution) my picture was too messed up so see at all - it overscans, continually rolls up and is impossible to see.

I know I said 30 minutes. It will unfortunately be (perhaps much) longer.

Hi guys, my name's Pedro and I was using Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14332 when I've tried to install B14342.
I have a laptop Lenovo Yoga 11s, Intel I5 3339Y, 8GB, Intel HD Graphics 4000 (last driver) and 128GB SSD card.

At some point of the installation (coping files part 2, 30%) some error message appears and system returns to the old build (14332). I repeat installation with Windows Update 4 times without success. Same error, same install point all the time.

Then I decided to make a ISO from the install.esd as you describe here and in the tutorials. After this I've made a bootable USB drive and I tried to install using it inside windows (setup.exe in File Explorer).
There was an error again and when the system returned to the old build (14332), the following error message appeared in my screen.

So I'm asking here if anybody has some information about this that could help me to solve it.

    Thanx in advance

Well, maybe :) I don't know - do they still sell those things? It wouldn't surprise me if they became sort of a nostalgia-kitsch thing.

Full disclosure - my Sea Monkeys never hatched

    Hi there

Defect with this release on a VM (Vmware WKS 12.1) running on a Linux Host

Can't send output to second / third screen -- the Host controls the output in all cases -- before I could route the VM to a different monitor.

Again this could be a VMWARE or a Windows problem -- however it does get problematical if you want to test on different hosts.

I sometimes wonder if Ms does any testing with VM's --these days using VM's is really mainstream -- it's not in the realm of geekdom any more.

    Cheers

Anyone else using dual / multiple display system with taskbar only on one display, but not on primary display?

    ...
If instead of Switch User I simply sign out, sign in to another user account, then sign in again to this first account, this does not happen; when signing in, the Taskbar is always shown where it should be, on secondary display. This only happens when switching user without signing out first.

Is this just me or a common issue when Taskbar is only shown on secondary display?

    I can confirm this issue.

I did setup taskbar on secondary monitor and when switching Users, taskbar is reverted back to primary.

Not my usual setup, so not an issue for me.

The installation failed in First_Boot phase with an error during SYSPREP operation is an error quite often seen when Fast Boot is enabled, especially if the user has not disabled the AV protection before starting the upgrade install.

Disable Fast Boot in UEFI settings, boot to desktop, disable your AV protection, try upgrade again. If it works, you can enable both again, at least the AV protection.

    It worked!! Thanx Kari.
I disabled Fast Boot, have no AV protection besides Windows Defender, and tried upgrade again. But this time I also choose the option "Keep only personal files".

Sorry I can't help you with problem.
    Greetings from Bras(z)il!!

    Solved.
