KB3156387 - Cumulative Update for Windows 10 buil 10240, May 10, 2016

That would only be good for those who either had a new 10 machine shutdown for some time prior to the TH2 update or had checked off the Defer all updates option to prevent anything newer from getting on and then manually downloading select updates. By now most OEM machines should be seeing the TH2. I'll be putting that to the test with a 10 laptop bought in January when checking for updates again.

Good idea to check, a client bought a new local-store-built Desktop a couple of weeks ago with 10240, cost her more for my time in getting it fully up-to-date when the store should have done it during the build.

Right now while still having seen a full system image backup made I can only run the WU and not go with a full clean install for the TH2 while still under the warranty. But that should be null by the time the Redstone 1 is out while it doesn't see much use as it is presently. I set that for someone else who isn't so "pc literate" let's say.
That had replaced a 7 laptop bought back in 2013 that suddenly went blank screen which might be external monitor setting if not the onboard graphics chip letting go suddenly. Won't know until getting a chance to hook up a vga cable. The new laptop was also a brand new model that came out in September which would suggest that still seeing the 10240 until verified. Simply seeing Version 1511 would confirm the TH2 was later applied before sale however.
