Even if hell freezes over I wouldn't use it. I'm still pissed I cant use my old hotmail account with office 2016 Pro.

and, I just got a "Check out the upgraded Outlook.com" email for the account I had to set up with imap so WLM would continue to check mail.

    Okay, it's finally happening.

Three of my six Hotmail accounts have stopped working.

The POP solution works, just create a new account with the details provided here: Solved Update for Windows Live Essentials Mail 2012 (KB3093594) kills WLM - Page 15 - Windows 10 Forums

    Actually, there's one slight problem.

With POP, it seems the Sent, Drafts and Deleted folders do not download the emails from the server.

Any solution to solve that particular problem?
    Cheers!

I set up 2 hotmail accounts using IMAP and all folders and mail downloaded. It took a while and I had to send and receive a few times before the folders filled. Nothing downloaded to "Sent Items" but instead were put in to a new folder called "Sent".

I found the definitive solution for POP.

    - Create a new account with POP settings
    - Have WLM automatically download all the Inbox emails
    - Then simply select ALL your Sent emails from the old account
    - Drag and drop them to the new Sent folder
    - Delete the old account

Now you have a working POP account with all your emails in the Inbox and Sent folders, and newly written emails will be added to the Sent folder, and that's it!
